Sue Macpherson is a freelance photographer who grew up in Africa and from an early age enjoyed travelling to remote areas with her camera. Her passion for photography is expressed through a wide range of subjects in landscape and portraiture, documentary and travel. Sue worked on a two year project taking documentary black and white images of Abbotsbury Swannery, for which she gained her Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society. Recently she completed a major landscape project for the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which was exhibited at the County Museum in Dorchester. Every year Sue travels to Africa to photograph children and schools for The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund. This is a charity that is dedicated to improving the quality of education in Uganda.
